Pupils at a small central Somerset school are being encouraged to be the very best they can be by an Olympic weightlifter.
Charlton Mackrell Primary School welcomed Michaela Breeze to talk to the children last Thursday as they launched its Be The Best You Can Be project.
Spokeswoman Gilly Kempton said the school was very lucky to meet Michaela.
"Michaela has represented Great Britain at two Olympic Games and won gold and silver medals at the Commonwealth Games," she said.
"Michaela told us all about the trials and tribulations of becoming a successful athlete and how important it is to keep working towards achieving your goals and never giving up.
"Hers was a truly inspiring message for us all."
